Early-reading and Math Skills
Certified educators incorporate Orton-Gillingham methodology teaching:
- Phonics
- Phonemic Awareness
- Decoding
- Encoding
- Fundamental Math Skills

Math Problem-solving Skills
Certified educators make math fun by incorporating multi-sensory instruction.
- Multi-sensory approach
- CRA: Concrete, Representational, Abstract methodology utilized
- Emphasis placed on conceptual understanding
- Focus on foundational skills and concepts

Reading Comprehension
Certified educators teach multi-sensory reading comprehension strategies.
- Direct instruction in Metacognitive strategies
- Explicit application of strategies to text
- Multi-sensory activities
- Student-centered, interactive lessons

Executive Functioning
Credentialed educators provide explicit instruction in Executive Functioning skills.
- Direct instruction in: organization, time management, study skills, goal setting, and problem solving
- Discussion of individualized application of strategies
- Identification of personalized methods
- Skills geared toward increasing student independence

ACT & SAT Prep
Students dive into the logic and problem-solving skills needed to do well on the test. Students complete the course with in-depth knowledge of the structure and format of the tests so that they can implement tricks and strategies successfully.

College Essay Writing
For many students, writing is difficult and writing about themselves is even more challenging. Students are taken through the process of creating their college essay. The sessions focus on identifying the unique story and qualities of each student and transforming these traits into a well-written, engaging college essay that will make them stand out to admissions officers
Small Group Camps
Interactive, purposeful activities taught by experienced and licensed educators.

Social and Motor Skills
The Social and Motor Skills Camp is designed for students to work on social skills while also developing gross and fine motor skills with a licensed occupational therapist and speech therapist. Skills addressed:
- Social interactions
- Fine motor
- Gross motor
- Critical thinking
- Problem solving
Dates: Tuesday & Thursday: June 3,5,10,12,17,19 and July 8,10,15,17
Time: 9:00-10:50 AM
Cost: $450/per child

Executive Functioning
Executive Functioning Camp designed for rising 7th – 10th graders using SMARTS materials. Skills addressed:
- Flexible thinking and Goal setting
- Physical and Digital organization
- Short term planning
- Long term planning
- Study strategies
Dates: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday:
Session I: June 17,18,19,24,25,26 and
Session II: July 22,23,24,29,30,31
Time: 10:00-11:50 AM
Please select one, or both, Sessions. Students may attend both sessions.
Cost: $300/per Session/per child

Social Group
Social Group Camp is a program designed for rising 6-9th grade students who benefit from social interaction and instruction with peers in a safe environment. Skills addressed:
- Social interactions
- Engage and initiate conversations
- Advocate for wants and needs
- Team building
- Problem solving
Dates: Wednesday: June 4,11,18, and July 8,16,23,30
Time: 10:00-11:50 AM
Cost: $450/per child

Session Details
Students
Please bring your backpack with: pencils, highlighters, a notebook, water bottle, and any summer assigned work. Please bring a laptop if working on ACT/SAT, college essay writing.
Drop-off & Pick-up
Please drop-off and pick-up at the scheduled time of the sessions. Students may not be dropped off prior to the session start time. Your child’s educator will walk out to pick-up your child. Please arrive five minutes prior to the end of the scheduled session time.
